If they answer yes to even one of these questions it would be advisable to intervene in their situation:
Do they often go to school or work without breakfast?
Are they constantly hungry and/or look malnutrition?
Do they eat less than three meals a day?
Do they ever go a day without eating at all?
Do they have water or heat in their home?
Are they temporarily or permanently homeless?
Is their clothing often inappropriate for the weather/school/work?
Do they move frequently? Is their living situation unstable?
Do they miss a lot of school?
Do they have trouble concentrating in school? Trouble keeping good grades/or a job?
